Every link starts as round steel wire, twisted so the chain lies flat against your wrist. Both faces are then ground and polished. Those flats are what throw light each time your hand moves.

Is it real gold?
No. It's solid 316L stainless steel with an 18K gold-tone finish. That's why it costs what it does, and why you can wear it in the shower.
Will it fit my wrist?
Each bracelet is 21cm / 8.27in end to end, which suits most wrists up to about 19 cm around with a little drape. Wrap a strip of paper around your wrist and measure it if you're unsure.
Can I get it wet?
Yes. Stainless steel doesn't rust, so showers, pools, sweat and salt water are all fine. Rinse and wipe it dry to keep the polish bright.
Will it turn my wrist green?
No. Green marks come from the copper in brass jewellery reacting with skin. There's no brass in these.
